The miners' health and construction safety were affected by the heading face with high dust, fine particles and poor hydroscopieity. With the installation and application of a new high pressure dust suppression device GC50/12 mode automatic spraying and dust suppression device,the dust problem was overcame. The trial operations showed that the new dust suppression device could effectively reduce the fine dust concentration during the cutting operation of the mine roadheader,could improve a visibility of the headin face,could improve the operation environment, could protect the miners' health and construction safety and could improve the project quality.
